Lotte Laserstein “Reclining Women”
Ongoing project! Research, Writing and Travel:
The experimental, ekphrastic piece, “Girl, Lying” —inspired in part by artist Lotte Laserstein—was selected as the winner of the Abigail Quigley McCarthy Center for Women Creative Work Award.
Two paintings: Lotte Laserstein—“Girl Lying on Blue,” (c1931) & “Self-Portrait with Friend” (date unknown) .
