Windows (2002)

A multimedia production investigating the place and value of windows in our world. Often seen in paintings such as those by Vermeer and Hopper, windows are more than functional objects; they are forces through which we learn to see. Male and female characters tell anecdotes about what they experienced through, beside or outside of a window.

Their stories make windows perfect metaphors for a transparent and opaque desire to both open and ignore what happens in the world outside. Photographs of windows and live music give tension and anticipation to each window story.
